Well Locations and Estimated Soil Contamination Boundaries

| To construct a map to attach to the dig permit form, follow the instructions below.

- Click on the proposed location for the excavation on the map below. Crosshairs will appear on the map. Just click again to remove the "x" and reposition the location.
- After the "x" is positioned correctly on the image, press the "Print Screen" button on the keyboard.
- Go to the Click the "Start" button at the bottom of the screen. Go to "Programs", then go to "Microsoft Word". The Microsoft Word Processor program will open.
- Go to the menu at the top of the screen, click on "Edit". A dropdown menu will appear. Click on "Paste". A picture of the map on your screen should appear.
- Go to the menu on the top of the screen. Click on "File". A dropdown menu will appear. Click on "Save As".
- A popup menu will appear. At the top of the popup menu box, next to "save in", click on the arrow pointing down. A dropdown menu will appear. Click on "Desktop".
- At the bottom of the popup menu, next to "file name", type in "dig permit - date - location". Then click on the "Save" button on the right side of the popup menu.
- You have now saved the map to attach to the dig permit form. Please click on the link to the dig permit page to complete the dig permit.
